Ariana Grande has done it yet again. For the second time in a row Grande has released another smash hit as her first single. “Problem,” featuring rapper Iggy Azalea, was released today for digital download.

From beginning to end this song has your body vibing and ready to hit the dance floor. The song opens up with a Jazz feel carried by a saxophone being played. (This progression actually resembles the one you hear in “Thrift Shop.”)

Then we get an intro by Azalea that is set to prep us for the tone and sass that is yet to come. Then just after 10 second Grande blast on the track with the first line.

Yet it isn’t until the bridge that a listener will truly be captivated, with no chance of escape. Grande uses great vocal control has she slowly builds an intensity, that is carried by some great lyrics.

“Head in the clouds, got no weight on my shoulders. I should be wiser and realize that I’ve got…”

As if this wasn’t enough we have none other than Big Sean also contributing vocals to this track. After Grande belts the bridge of the song, Sean whispers his way through the chorus.

This song holds every element that it takes to make a smash summer hit. Great vocals, a great bass drop, dance-ability, a catchy and memorable hook and an awesome rap verse.

Azalea offers listeners one of the most explosive rap features on a pop song that I’ve heard in a really long time. There is sass, attitude, and a great vibe. She really delivers it and makes the song 20 times better than it already was.

If just the sound of the verse isn’t enough let’s take a look at some of the lyrics:

“Small money bettin I’d be better off without you. In no time I’ll be forgettin all about you. You sayin that you know, but I really, really doubt you understand that my life is easy when I ain’t around you.”

Grande premiered the single at the Radio Disney Music Awards.

Grande has shown such growth in this single. Not only is she trying new things with this song, she is also showing such maturity with the delivery and promotion of this single.

She recently performed the single at the Radio Disney Music Awards and showed that she is definitely taking a new stance on her image. She showed off a bit of her sex appeal with her dance moves and body tight all black outfit.

Also, as part of her promotion for the single Grande offered fans some art work from photo shoots of the single art work. She also had pictures made as part of her countdown to “Problem” campaign.

With a new image and sound Grande’s new single is a sure fire hit and I already can’t get enough of it. Take a listen below and be sure to buy your copy on Itunes now!

Now Grande hasn’t released her upcoming lyric video for the song and since the release was a bit early for fans who pre-ordered the song, you’re going to have to hear the live version of the song.

So is her performance at the Radio Disney Music Awards. I’ll be sure to upload the lyric video as soon as it is released.
